I’m Kayla, a Veterinary Nurse with a background in both mixed and small animal practice. My passion for animals began at a young age, growing up in a home where my parents bred and hand-reared exotic birds. This early exposure sparked my desire to pursue a hands-on career working with animals.
I hold a bachelor's degree in veterinary nursing from University College Dublin. I also previously studied animal care. I have a particular interest in anaesthesia and am always striving to further develop my skills and knowledge in this area. I also hope to continue gaining more experience working with exotic animals throughout my career.
My favourite part of veterinary nursing is patient care. Being there for animals in their time of need and supporting them through their recovery journey. Outside of work, I enjoy art, reading, going to the gym, and spending time with my family.
